| Bullying wrecks lives; compassion is a
teachable skill. Our Learning through
Empathy playlist comprises an array of must-see films—new releases,
bestsellers and award winners—touching upon sensitive topics such as
homophobia, racism and domestic violence. This playlist offers elementary
school teachers unique Canadian resources that will help students explore,
discuss, and ultimately express empathy, an essential skill for navigating the
diversity and conflicts inherent in our global community.
Use your
CAMPUS subscription to access most of these films now. Not sure if you are
already subscribed? Your ministry of education or school board may have already
purchased a subscription. To check to see if they have or to inquire about
purchasing a subscription for you or your school, contact us. A subscription to
CAMPUS gives you access to more than 500 password-protected films on nfb.ca.
